About Wade Bloggz

I used to make up stories on paper when I was in elementary school, but I never thought of it as more than another way to kill time.
I used to write songs when I got into high school, but I thought of it as more of a joke.

The first time I thought of writing seriously and for a possible living, was when I fell in love for the first time in 1994, and the subsequent pain that came from the end of my first serious relationship.

When it began I picked up a pen to write about the levels of joy that I had never experienced and about the many ways that I cared about this woman.

When it was over, I wrote about the emotion and pain, then it turned into the lessons I learned in my short life and how I was growing, and my writing kept improving by the day, and since then, I’ve never put the pen down.

I can’t guarantee that all of my entries will be exciting or excellent, but I can say that most of them will be put forth with maximum effort and passion.

Not all of my entries will be serious.
Not all of my entries will be poignant.
Not all of my entries will be memorable.
But I believe that most of my entries deserve to be read.
Please give me a chance. I’ll be writing a lot. Stay tuned.

Although I’ve fallen more and more in love with the Diamondacks since my relocation to Tucson, Arizona 3 and a half years ago, they are not the only team I will talk about.

As I was born in Hawaii, and so am lacking a true home team in Major League Baseball, over the years a lot of teams and players have drawn my love, respect and attention, and therefore I will be talking about a lot of different things, teams and players. I think it’s more interesting that way.

I don’t just want D-Backs fans to read my blog. I want baseball fans to read my blog. I want you to read my blog, and yes, I do want you to enjoy it, and I really hope you do. Thanks.

I have also finished one screenplay and am currently close to finishing a book about music, which is another big love of mine. And I still continue to write songs, but since I’ve been happily engaged for the last couple years, my songwriting has suffered. It’s hard not to write sappy songs when you’re happy and in love. My sports writing hasn’t had much fall-off though. Well, I guess you’ll have to be the judge of that.]]>
